Sorting Tradeline Sections

Sorting Tradeline Sections

With iSoftpull's custom tradeline sort feature super admin clients can cusomtize the order tradeline sections appear within reports across their organization. You can use custom filter properties such date, account status, account type, account balance, etc. to determine order. For example, you can have all 'open' account types appear first followed by all closed accounts. Can you take this a step further and have all open accounts appear first, sorted in order from highest balance to lowest balance, followed by all closed accounts. Review the steps below to learn how to custom sort tradeline sections.

Step 1. Click the 'Add Sort' Button

Navigate to the Trade Accounts section of the credit report and click the 'add sort' plus button icon.

Step 2. Select Sort Filter Properties

Select which property you want to use as the primary sort filter and set the order in which you want it sorted (ascending vs descending). Then select if you want to add a secondary sort filter and the order you want it sorted (secondary sort is optional). Note, the primary sort feature is the top category that will be used to sort tradeline sections. For instance, if you want to use Account status as the primary sort feature and use balance as the secondary sort feature then accounts will be displayed based on status first and then accounts with the same status will be displayed based on balance (secondary sort).

Step 3. Save Changes

Once you have configured your desired sort filters press the green 'Sort' button to save these changes.

Please note, only super admin clients can custom sort report sections across their organization.
