With the iSoftpull HubSpot integration installed, you can pull consumer credit reports directly inside the HubSpot CRM. This allows teams to review credit data, pre-qualify customers, and manage reports without switching between apps or platforms.
This article walks through how to run a credit report, review the results, and access full reports directly from a HubSpot contact record.
Log in to HubSpot.
Go to Contacts.
Open an existing contact or create a new one.
Select the Credit Reports tab on the contact record.
Inside the Credit Reports tab, click Run credit report.
Choose the report type:
Soft Pull
Hard Pull
Select the credit bureau(s) you want to run the report from (Experian, Equifax, and/or TransUnion).
The credit report form will open.
The applicant’s first and last name are automatically pre-populated from the HubSpot contact record to help save time and reduce manual entry.
Review the information and complete any additional required fields.
For hard pulls, additional information such as Social Security number and date of birth will be required.
When ready, click Submit.
After submitting the form, success messages will appear confirming that the credit report has been generated for each selected bureau.
Once complete, close the confirmation window to return to the contact record.
After a report is pulled, the iSoftpull Credit Report Summary appears within the Credit Reports tab on the contact record.
Here you can quickly review key credit details, including:
Credit score
Inquiries
Collections
Public records
Score reason codes
High-level tradeline and account metrics
This summary allows teams to evaluate credit data directly within HubSpot.
You can expand sections within the report summary to view additional insights, such as:
Credit score reason codes
Account and tradeline summaries
Open accounts and account analysis
To access the full credit report:
Click Full credit reports within the Credit Reports tab.
All reports remain associated with the contact record for easy future access.
If updated credit information is needed:
Click the Refresh report button within the Credit Reports tab.
The report will be re-pulled and updated directly in the contact record.
iSoftpull account admins can customize which data points appear in the credit report summary by adjusting the Report Summary Settings within the iSoftpull app.

All pulled credit reports are attached to the HubSpot contact record.
Previously pulled reports remain accessible for review, downloading, and compliance purposes.
