iSoftpull HubSpot Integration — Developer Testing Guide

Overview

This article provides HubSpot reviewers and developers with the instructions needed to install, configure, and test the iSoftpull HubSpot integration during the Marketplace submission review process.

The iSoftpull HubSpot integration allows credit reports to be pulled directly inside the HubSpot CRM. During testing, reports are generated using a sandbox environment and predefined test applicant profiles to validate workflow, data display, and report access.

Note:

This article is intended for HubSpot developers reviewing and testing the iSoftpull integration during the Marketplace submission process. If you are an iSoftpull customer or end user looking for setup or usage instructions, please refer to the following articles:

Because the iSoftpull app is not yet publicly listed in the HubSpot Marketplace, installation must be completed using the direct install link below.

Use this link to install the app into your HubSpot test account:

Follow the prompts in HubSpot to authorize and install the application.

Step 2: Connect the iSoftpull Test Account

During installation, you will be prompted to connect an iSoftpull account.

Use the iSoftpull test account credentials provided in the Marketplace listing submission for review and testing purposes.

  1. Click Sign In when prompted.

  2. Log in using the provided test credentials.

  3. Click Done to complete the connection.

Step 3: Post-Installation Configuration (One-Time Setup)

After installation, a one-time configuration step is required to make the credit report functionality visible on HubSpot contact records.

  1. In HubSpot, navigate to CRM → Contacts.

  2. Open an existing contact record.

  3. At the top of the record, click Customize and select Default view to open the layout editor.

  4. Add a new tab and provide a name (for example, “Credit Reports”).

  5. Select the new tab and click Add card.

  6. From the Card Library, search for the iSoftpull Credit Report Summary card.

  7. Select the card and click Add card.

  8. Click Save to apply the changes.

Once saved, the Credit Report tab will be available on contact records.

Step 4: Run Sample Credit Reports (Sandbox Testing)

During testing, the integration operates in a sandbox environment. Only sample credit reports can be generated using the predefined test applicant profiles below.

Attempting to run a credit report using any other applicant data will result in an intentional no-hit response.

To save time, you may pre-populate the contact record with the test applicant information below. When you select Run Credit Report, the applicant details will automatically populate in the report form.
